Melissa Hall, 6th Grade Math & Science and 8th Grade Humanities
Ms. Hall is in her sixth year teaching for Sebastopol Union School District. She has taught grades second through eighth. Most of her classroom time has been spent in upper elementary combination classrooms. This year, Ms. Hall is looking forward to teaching sixth and eighth graders, and all that comes with tweens. Ms. Hall hopes to incorporate her project based and International Baccalaureate training into her curriculums regularly. Her appreciation for student-led learning will hopefully be evident throughout the year. Her only request of the students is that they ask lots and lots of questions! The more questions they ask…the more they learn!
Ms. Hall grew up in Guerneville and brings her West County experience with her into the classroom. She received her BA in Liberal Studies and teaching credential from Sonoma State. Outside the classroom, Ms. Hall spends her time with her family. Along with her husband, her 10 month old son, and her dog she loves to spend time at the beach and under the redwoods. If you could send her on a vacation, any tropical island would do!
