Daniel Hetzer, Band
Greetings! I would like to introduce myself, my name is Daniel Hetzer, and I am the band director at The Reach School!
A little about me…
I hold a California Single Subject Teaching Credential and a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from Sonoma State University and an Associate’s degree in Fine Arts from Napa Valley College.
I am a trumpet player and have been ever since I was in 5th grade and the band teacher came to my school and told anyone interested in playing an instrument to sign up! I am also a guitar player for and am still trying to emulate one of my all time heroes – Eric Clapton. I also enjoy singing and spent several semesters in the Sonoma State University Chorus.
I love the great outdoors and enjoy camping, riding my bike, and hiking. I enjoy going to concerts and other shows with my friends and family. I am also an avid model railroader and belong to the Napa Valley Model Railroad Historical society, where I have been a member since I was 14.
Music has influenced me throughout my life in a very positive way, and I hope to provide similar experiences for my students as well.
