Justin Kornfein, REACH Director

Justin Kornfein grew up in Southern California and came north to do his undergraduate  studies in Anthropology at U.C. Berkeley.  In his senior year, he began volunteering in an alternative high school in Richmond , CA.  He realized then that teaching was his passion and has never stopped since! 

He received his teaching credential  from San Francisco State University and has taught in Redwood City, Switzerland, and at Willowside Middle school.  He believes in learning by doing and utilizes meaningful service-learning projects to connect the classroom with the outside community. He also loves to teach digital arts such as animation, photography, and video production. You might find Justin out taking pictures on the trails or playing soccer on the fields.
