Mary Kraybill, 4th grade
Mary has a Bachelor of Science in Botany, a Clear Multiple Subject Credential and a Clear Single Subject credential in General Science and Biology. In addition, she has a
Level II Education Specialist Credential, a Language Development Specialist Certification and a Bilingual Certificate of Competency in Spanish.
Mary has extensive experience working with project based instruction at a small K-8 charter as the Language Center Director, teaching K-5 language and math
skills, and teaching middle school English Language Arts, Math, Humanities and Science. She has taught 6th grade Environmental Education and has six years experience teaching 9th grade Physical Science and 10th grade Biology. She improved the existing curriculum by incorporating a standards-based lab-oriented
program with integrated technology.
Mary is versed in differentiated instruction, targeting key standards and using assessments to target mastery of curriculum. She coordinated and taught student academic programs and support systems. Mary is an avid sailor with a strong passion for teaching.
