Maggie Peters, 4th/5th
I am so excited to be a part of the Sebastopol Union School District. This will be my 5th year as an elementary school teacher and I'm looking forward to returning to a multiage class! I have found that I truly love teaching the upper graders because they are at such a neat stage of their lives. Plus I enjoy trying to make learning an interesting and personally rewarding experience for them while at the same time trying to have fun with what we are doing.
As for me, I grew up in Southern California and after taking some courses at the local junior college, I transferred to Sonoma State to get my BA and Credential. I later married my very supportive husband, Chris and we had a wonderful, busy little boy named Cody.
My hobbies include playing games, watching my husband play baseball, going to the park with my son, and researching lessons or projects on-line.
